The distinctive sound of Westminster Cathedral Choir
I was reminded of the gloriously rich, "continental" sound produced by the Choir in its heyday when listening again to this clip of the Choir singing Victoria's justly celebrated eight-part setting of the Ave Maria, at St Peter's Basilica. Martin Baker had them sounding their very best. A return to such form is to be strived for.
