Simon Johnson to take on role of Master of Music at Westminster Cathedral
Westminster Cathedral is believed to have appointed its new Master of Music over ten days ago, as we reported on 1 May 2021.
An official announcement was initially due to be made last week.
It is now tolerably clear that the name due to be announced is Simon Johnson, currently Organist and Assistant Director of Music at St Paul's Cathedral, a post held since 2008.
Mr Johnson comes with exceptional credentials and experience.
The Society wishes him well in his new role, expected to begin in September 2021.
